Sincerest apologies for a lack of activity on our site. With high school basketball, then try-outs and other things, we’ve all been very, very busy.
But our first post back is a good one. It’s a tale of triumph for our ladies.
The Lady Flash – Class of 2021 Team, won First Prize in the 8th Grade Division in the First-Annual “Flash Clash” Basketball Tournament, which was hosted at the Cut Off Youth Center.
The Lady Flash played great basketball throughout the weekend, outlasting some worthy competitors in the weekend.
Our ladies also got 2nd place in the Seventh Grade division.
Great job to all coaches and players on a job well done!
We’d also like to congratulate the Opelousas Lady Rockets for earning 2nd place in the Eighth Grade Bracket at our home tournament!
Great work, ladies and come again next year!
