(3rd and 8th grade head coach; Flash Founder)

Damien St. Pierre is the founder of the South Lafourche Flash organization. A longtime basketball fan, St. Pierre has a long, extensive resumé in his coaching career, which now spans roughly a decade.

St. Pierre is the former head boys’ basketball coach at Golden Meadow Middle School.

He is also the head coach of the South Lafourche High School freshman team, an assistant coach for the SLHS boys’ basketball varsity team and the President of South Lafourche Biddy Basketball.

Damien has coached countless All-Star and travel squads in his coaching career, enjoying several tournament titles in his career.

Prior to his time with the Flash, Damien was a coach with the Bayou Ballers AAU Team.

Ashton joins the Flash family after both a storied career as both a coach and player. Ashton was a member of the South Lafourche High School 1998 State Championship Team, starting as the team’s power forward. He was also a top-notch football player, signing a scholarship to extend his career at Southern. As a coach, Ashton is  well-known around the AAU circles. He founded the Bayou Ballers program, and has coached multiple travel and All-Star teams. Ashton is also a patched football and basketball official in the Thibodaux Officials Association.

Casey Gisclair is a Board Member and basketball coach in the South Lafourche Biddy Basketball program. During his 6-year career with the program, he has served as the head coach for one all-star team, and has worked as an assistant coach on several others. This season will be Casey’s first on the AAU scene, though quality basketball is not foreign to his career path. That’s because Casey is an award-winning journalist at the Houma Times Newspaper and a radio personality at ESPN – New Orleans. He is the Voice of South Lafourche High School basketball and baseball, and has called more than 75 games in his career.
